As the 2012 CHSAA season started last week, the boys soccer program at Christ the King won its first two games. In the first game of the season the Royals beat St. Francis Prep 1-0 on a Sept. 5 goal by Calogero Curcuru. This is the first ever win against St. Francis Prep since the Royals joined the AA soccer league. In the second game of the season, the boys beat Holy Cross 4-2 on Sept. 7, with goals scored by Joey Porretto, Curcuru, John Nunez, and JC Obregon.
