Ernest C. Thompson

ERNEST C. THOMPSON died on Thursday, August 30. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy, loving father of Richard, James and Matthew and devoted father-in-law of Lorraine and step-grandfather of Lianne. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served between 1947 and 1952, he was the former post commander, district commander, county commander and an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts 123 and 551 for 64 years. He was interred at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Hillebrand Funeral Homes, 63-17 Woodhaven Blvd., Rego Park.
