Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a two-car crash in Forest Hills last Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 5, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the collision occurred at around 3:50 p.m. at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Union Turnpike. Members of Engine Co. 305, Ladder Co. 151, the 112th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The victims were taken by paramedics to an area hospital for treatment of injuries which were not life-threatening.
