ST. ALBANS — Police said Tuesday ballistics tests revealed that the gun used to kill a man on a busy Midtown Manhattan street Monday was also used to shoot up a house in southeast Queens three years ago.

On Monday, 31-year-old Brandon Lincoln, of Los Angeles, was shot at close range in the back of the head by an unidentified gunman as he was walking along West 58th Street near 7th Avenue. Police said the gunman jumped in the passenger seat of a parked car and fled the scene.

According to the NYPD, ballistics indicated that the 9 mm, semiautomatic pistol used to kill Lincoln was also used to fire shots at a house in St. Albans in November of 2009.

The police said two males who have not been identified fired a total of 12 shots at the building’s two front windows, door frame and a side window. There were no injuries in the St. Albans shooting and no arrests were made, police said.
