ASTORIA — A 74-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly slashing her daughter with a kitchen knife, according to the Queens district attorney’s office.
On Nov. 9 at about 7 a.m., YoungJee Lee picked up a kitchen knife and allegedly told her daughter that if she left the house, the septuagenarian would stab her, according to a criminal complaint from the DA’s office.
Lee then allegedly attempted to plunge the knife into her offspring, managing to slice her daughter’s head and face with the blade, according to the complaint.
Lee is charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harrassment, the DA said.
