Former M. Wells location, at 21-17 49th Avenue, LIC

A sports bar is taking over the space that was formerly occupied by M. Wells diner, the highly-acclaimed LIC restaurant located at 21-17 49th Ave.
The restaurant, according to QueensNYC, is going to be called Adelfia. The new tenants are doing some renovations—although they will not be conducting a major overhaul.
M Wells closed in the summer of 2011, after its owners blamed its demise on a rent increase.
It reopened at MoMA PS1 at the end of September 2012.
