Celebrating Kwanzaa In Elmhurst

The Laughing River-which offers training in Tai Chi, Jujitsu and meditation- hosted a family Kwanzaa puppet-making workshop and puppet show last Wednesday, Dec. 26 at its home in Elmhurst. From left to right are Jalen Delves, Wumei Blanche, Dawud Delves (Jalen’s father) who is holding his daughter, Jael Delves, Reann Sonnylal, Renee Sonnylal, Laughing River Director Dino Blanche, (Wumei’s father), Corrina Yusuf, Ethan Sonnylal, Evan Sonnylal, and Victor Robeiri, uncle of the Sonnylal children and of Corrina Yusuf.
