Elmhurst Hospital Center held their annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. remembrance celebration at the medical center on Monday, Jan. 14, during which City Council Member Daniel Dromm served as the keynote speaker. Dromm celebrated the legacy of the civil rights leader, whose life will be marked with the federal holiday named in his memory this Monday, Jan. 21. The Council member also spoke about the many other civil rights challenges more than 40 years after King’s death.
