Wanted For Abusing 10-Year-Old
Police have publicized a sketch of a man who molested and exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl at an apartment building within the confines of the 110th Precinct last Saturday, Jan. 5.
The perpetrator is described by law enforcement sources as a white male believed to be 30 years of age, standing between 5’10- and 6′-tall and weighing between 170 and 190 lbs. with a beard.
Reportedly, he was last observed wearing a black knit cap, glasses and a black sweat suit while pushing a black mountain bike.
According to the NYPD, the incident took place at around 4:05 p.m. last Saturday at an undisclosed location within the 110th Precinct’s coverage area of Corona and Elmhurst.
Law enforcement sources said the perpetrator followed the 10-year-old girl into an apartment building as she traveled home from visiting an area store.
Upon entering the building, police stated, the suspect engaged in a conversation with the child, then touched her groin over her clothes and exposed himself to her.
The girl reportedly ran into her apartment, and the perpetrator fled from the location, police said.
The incident was later reported to the 110th Precinct. The girl was not physically injured.
Members of the NYPD Queens Special Victims Squad and the 110th Precinct Detective Squad are conducting an investigation.
