Glendale Kiwanis Chiefs Are Feted with Special Dinner

Past presidents of the Kiwanis Club of Glendale were feted in a special way with a dinner hosted by the organization last Thursday night, Feb. 28, at Zum Stammtisch restaurant. Among the club’s former leaders who were honored were Assemblyman Mike Miller and New York State Kiwanis Governor-elect Joe Aiello, both of whom are shown in the foreground of the top picture with current Glendale Kiwanis President Len Licata. Other Kiwanians in attendance included Community Board 5 Chairperson Vincent Arcuri, David Fitzgerald, Leo Galante, Fred Haller III, Hank Kraker, Deborah and Bob Kueber and Bill Maher. Last Thursday’s dinner also doubled as an induction ceremony for the Kiwanis club’s newest member, Ted Kosmidis of State Farm Insurance-Pat Cawley Agency.
