He’s Wanted for Credit Card Fraud

Police are asking the public’s help in tracking down the man pictured at right who is wanted for recently obtaining cash from two Ridgewood banks using a fake card with a stolen credit card number. According to law enforcement sources, the crook made cash advances at Chase banks located at 66- 94 Fresh Pond Rd. and 60- 67 Myrtle Ave. on Dec. 7, 2012 using a phony card bearing the account information of a Staten Island resident. The theft was reported by the resident to the 122nd Precinct. Anyone with any information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts that could prove helpful is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-577-TIPS, by text message to 274637 (enter information, then the code TIP577) or online at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com. All calls and messages will be kept confidential.
