Part of Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood, Brooklyn was closed to traffic last Wednesday, Mar. 27, after a livery cab sprung a leak and caused an oil slick on the roadway, it was reported. According to sources, the incident occurred at around 1 p.m. along Myrtle Avenue between Gates and Wyckoff avenues. Members of Squad Co. 252 and Haz-Mat Unit 1 responded to the incident and helped clean up the leak. There were no injuries.
