More Pics Of Suspects Who Fatally Stabbed Man
Additional photos were released by the NYPD last Thursday, May 23, of two suspects wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Richmond Hill man earlier this month.
The two men, along with a third individual, are being sought for their involvement in the deadly assault on Stephen James, 21, of 116th Street, which took place early on the morning of May 12.
Law enforcement sources said 106th Precinct officers, on patrol in the area of Liberty Avenue and 123rd Street, found the wounded James holding his stomach at around 3:50 a.m. The victim reportedly stated that he had been stabbed.
EMS units rushed to the location brought James to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where hew as initially listed in stable condition with injuries not considered to be lifethreatening.
However, police reported, James took a turn for the worse and died the following morning, May 13. An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner concluded that James died of a stab wound to his torso.
As the Times Newsweekly went to press on Wednesday afternoon, May 29, no arrests had been made in the case.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by the 106th Precinct Detective Squad and the Queens Homicide Squad, police said.
