OZONE PARK — Remains found at the Ozone Park home of the late mobster James “Jimmy the Gent” Burke were identified as human, according to a representative for the city medical examiner’s office.

The FBI launched an investigation at the house last week and began digging for what a spokesperson said was “evidence.”

The human remains have not yet been identified, according to the ME’s office.

Burke was an associate of the Lucchese crime family and inspired the character James Conway in the movie “Goodfellas.”
