A violent criminal who sexually assaulted a woman as she was waiting to catch an early morning bus in Woodhaven was sentenced to 25 years in jail last week, the Queens district attorney said.

Kevin Pazmini, 23, got slapped with the heavy sentence after he was found guilty last month of dragging his 35-year-old victim into an alley near Jamaica Avenue, where he tore her clothes and assaulted her before stealing her purse, DA Richard Brown said.

“The defendant was found guilty of sexually assaulting the victim who was on her way to work, leaving her emotionally and physically battered,” Brown said. “He is a violent predator and the sentence imposed today is justified and necessary to protect the law-abiding members of our society from such a vicious individual.”

Around 6 a.m. July 26, 2012, Pazmini snuck up behind his victim and put her in a choke hold as she was waiting for a bus near the corner of 89th Street and Jamaica Avenue.

Pazmini, who lived just 10 blocks from the corner, then dragged her into a nearby alley where he beat her on the face and sexually assaulted her.

With her clothes half torn off, the woman was able to escape to a nearby bodega where a customer called 911.

The following day police released a video of Pazmini walking on the street prior to the attack and he was arrested a few days later.

Authorities said Pazmini’s DNA was found on a letter he wrote to a friend detailing the incident.

He was convicted last month of first-degree rape, committing a criminal sex act, attempted robbery and assault.

Supreme Court Justice Richard Buchter sentenced him to a quarter of a century in prison June 12.

After he was arrested, Pazmini continued to act out, authorities said.

He was arrested in September 2012 for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl who passed out after drinking inside his home and charged with first-degree rape.

He pleaded down to a sexual misconduct charge and was put on probation until 2017. As a Level 1 sex offender, he is required to be listed on the state registry.

He did a 10-day stint on Rikers Island after pleading guilty to punching and robbing a woman at knifepoint in Woodside in October 2010.
