The police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to an alleged attempted rape in Richmond Hill.
According to the NYPD, on Friday, July 5, at approximately 3:15 a.m., the 21-year-old victim was walking near 115th Street and 85th Avenue when she was approached by the suspect who grabbed her from behind, threw her onto the floor and attempted to rape her. Upon seeing a car pass in the street the suspect fled the area.
The police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, 5’9″ tall, 180 pounds and with a medium complexion.
The NYPD has released a video of the suspect.
