Police are looking for a driver who struck and killed a 25-year-old in Jackson Heights early Monday morning.
Manuel Campoverde was about six blocks from his home when a vehicle traveling in the eastbound lane of 34th Avenue hit him at Junction Boulevard around 2 a.m, then kept driving, according to authorities.
Campoverde was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A witness described the car as a small, black four-door sedan, driven by a male with a light complexion, said police.
The investigation is ongoing.
