AVERNE — The Police Department reached out for help to find a woman who went missing from the 101st Precinct, cops said.
Myrtle Shears, 56, was last seen around 8 p.m. July 24 in front of her 47th Street residence, the NYPD said. Cops described her as standing 5-foot-6 and 138 pounds.
Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
