JACKSON HEIGHTS — An armed band of thieves broke into a Jackson Heights apartment last week and demanded cash from the two teenagers inside, police said.

One of the four suspects was armed with a black firearm when they opened the unlocked front door of the basement abode July 23, according to the NYPD. The suspects demanded cash and property from a 13-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy inside before helping themselves to money and jewelry and then fleeing, cops said.

Before making a getaway from the home invasion, the suspects were caught on camera.

Anyone with information about the break-in should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting 274637
