Group of men stab, rob cyclist in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park

Police are looking for a group of men who stabbed a cyclist and stole his bike in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park over the weekend.

According to the NYPD, the unidentified victim was riding in the park around 6 p.m. Saturday when eight to 10 men approached him and told him they wanted his bicycle. The suspects pulled the victim off the bicycle, punched him, stabbed him four times in the back and once in the chest, then fled with the bike.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Authorities describe the perpetrators as Hispanic males, 18 to 20 years old.
