Straphanger wanted for punching woman on Queens E train

A woman was allegedly punched in the face and elbowed after she told a man to stop touching her leg on a Queens subway train.

Police are now looking for the person who assaulted her.

The incident happened aboard a Manhattan-bound E train near the Court Square-23rd Street station at 7:50 a.m. on May 30, said the NYPD.

After the suspect assaulted the 46-year-old victim, he detrained and fled at that stop.

The victim received bruising to her face and refused medical attention at the scene, said police.

The suspect is described as black, 40 to 50 years old, 6′ tall, 200 to 210 pounds and has an accent.
