Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a Whitestone man in Flushing earlier today.

Police found 46-year-old Leslie Balogh around 1:45 a.m. in front of 31-50 137th Street with gunshot wounds to his face and torso.

He was taken to Flushing Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

One neighbor across the street said cars would pull up to Balogh’s house at all hours of the day, and people would come in and out quickly. Cops were often around the block, the neighbor said, and sometimes came up to the house.
