A Nordstrom Rack is coming to Flushing’s SkyView Center.

Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. announced Tuesday it will be opening a 39,000-square-foot store in the mall, at 40-24 College Point Blvd., in fall 2014.

“Nordstrom Rack moving to SkyView Center is a transformative stop, further establishing Queens as a major retail destination attracting shoppers throughout the greater New York City area,” said Michael Dana, president of Onex Realty Partners, the developer for the project.

The store will sell off-price Nordstrom products with savings of 30 percent to 70 percent off regular prices. Nordstrom Rack is set to open its first Brooklyn store in spring 2014 and its new shop in the SkyView Center will be its first location in Queens.

Nordstrom Rack will join a mix of retailers in the SkyView Center, which include Target, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond and Best Buy.

“We are excited about the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail center within a vibrant neighborhood in the heart of Queens and right off the Long Island Rail Road,” Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack, said.
