A plane skidded off a runway into a snowbank after landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport Sunday morning, causing all flights at the Queens airport to be halted for two hours, the Port Authority said.

There were no injuries reported, according to the agency, which operates the airport.

Port Authority Police and emergency crews assisted the 35 passengers on board and towed the Delta Flight 4100, which originated in Toronto, following the skid, which happened just after 8 a.m., the agency said.

After a two-hour delay because of the icy runways, flights resumed after 10 a.m. on two of the airport’s four runways, but residual delays for passengers were expected, the Associated Press reported.

Crews were working to return the airport’s two other runways to operation as quickly as possible, the Port Authority said.
