Reynoso Takes Oath As Councilman

Residents and politicians gathered to celebrate the inauguration of City Council Member Antonio Reynoso, Jan. 26. The freshman council member bested former Democratic party boss Vito Lopez for the 34th District Council seat, which includes portions of Ridgewood and Bushwick. Pictured at his inauguration (from the left) are: 50th Assembly District Leader Lincoln Restler; Churches United for Fair Housing Executive Director Rob Solano; Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams; Deputy Borough President Diana Reyna, who previously held Reynoso’s seat; Reynoso; Rep. Nydia Velázquez; and 52nd Assembly District Leader Jo Anne Simon.
