Woman struck by bus in critical condition: FDNY

FOREST HILLS — A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after being struck by an MTA bus at the corner of Queens Boulevard and 71st Avenue Wednesday morning, police said.

The woman, who was hit by the back wheels of the bus, could lose her leg because of the accident, according to a police source.

The FDNY said she was transported to Beth Israel Hospital in critical condition.
