Bee Winners Spell Success for Bushwick

Parents, teachers and students gathered at P.S./I.S. 377 in Bushwick last Friday, Jan. 31, to honor students that competed in the Scripps Spelling Bee. Pictured are the school’s top winners from a borough-wide challenge held Jan. 29: 6th-grader Charlie Gutierrez, 5th-grader Abigail Marrero, 7th-grader Douglas Oviedo and 8th-grader Aisha Manzueta, who will be one of 14 students representing Brooklyn in a regional bee to be held in March.
