SOUTH OZONE PARK — Police were asking the public’s help in identifying two suspects they said robbed a cab driver in the early hours of Feb. 2.

The unsuspecting cab driver picked up two people in Brooklyn shortly after 4 a.m. before driving them to the corner of 133rd Street and Linden Boulevard, where one of the suspects reached in the driver’s pocket, grabbed an undetermined amount of money and took off on foot, police said.

Police described the suspect who took the money as a light-skinned black man, who was 20 to 25 years old and wore a red hooded sweatshirt and a black jacket. The second suspect was a black woman, who was also 20 to 25 years old and had a thin build, police said.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
