Law enforcement sources released this image of a man wanted for recently robbing banks in Woodside and Flushing. According to police, the crook- described as a black male between 30 and 35 years of age, standing 6′-tall and weighing between 220 and 240 lbs.- passed notes to swipe cash from the Astoria Federal Savings bank at 60-20 Woodside Ave. in Woodside on Jan. 11 at 12:28 p.m. and from the Apple Bank at 43-73 Kissena Blvd. in Flushing on Nov. 8, 2013 at 12:26 p.m. He was last observed wearing a dark knit cap, a dark jacket and a hooded sweatshirt. An investigation by the NYPD Major Case Squad is ongoing.
