JACKSON HEIGHTS — The NYPD was searching for a suspect in a robbery at a Jackson Heights bank branch, police said.
The suspect allegedly entered a Citibank, at 80-19 Roosevelt Ave., Jan. 21 and approached a 40-year-old man, according to cops. Authorities said the suspect then allegedly forcibly stole the victim’s cash as he was making an ATM withdrawal.
The victim tried to hold onto his money, but the suspect was allegedly able to free himself and fled with $200, police said.
