Nine recent law school graduates were appointed as assistant district attorneys (ADAs) by Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown last Friday, Mar. 7, during a ceremony at his Kew Gardens office. Each of the new prosecutors will begin their careers with a training course led by Assistant District Attorneys Kevin M. Duddy, director of trial advocacy, and Jennifer L. Naiburg, deputy director of trial advocacy. They will also participate in lectures, courtroom observations, mock hearings, ride-alongs with police officers, simulations at the NYPD Tactics House and visits to correctional institutions and alternative sentencing programs. Thereafter, the new ADAs will be assigned to the Criminal Court/Intake Bureau. Shown with Brown, the appointees are (in alphabetical order) George T. Del Fierro Jr. and John L.
