The Greater Ridgewood Youth Council (GRYC) recently launched its ninth “Connect to Success” young adult internship program cycle. As noted, the initiative helps develop work readiness skills and find educational opportunities for individuals between 17 and 24 years of age. Part of the Center for Economic Opportunity and the Department of Youth and Community Development, the program also offers 14-week paid internships to candidates selected through a competitive progress. The participants are pictured with Robert Molina, program director, and GRYC staff members Gino Ancona, Niki Madan, Aaron Perkins, Zuleyca Ramos and Alex Velasquez. For more information on Connect to Success, call the GRYC at 1-718-456-KIDS.
