LONG ISLAND CITY — An East Elmhurst man is facing more than a dozen charges of possessing child porn after workers at a Best Buy in Long Island City allegedly found pornographic images of kids on a laptop he brought into the store for repairs, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
The DA said Michael Murray, 61, of 32-40 89th St., dropped his computer off at the Northern Boulevard store March 26, and a technician later discovered that the computer allegedly contained 15 images of young girls committing sexual acts.
Murray was charged with 15 counts of possessing a sexual act by a child and faces up to four years in prison, if convicted, the DA said.
