Midville Group Talks Cancer Fund-raiser

This June’s Relay for Life at Juniper Valley Park topped the Middle Village Property Owners/Residents Association (MVPORA) meeting on Monday night, Apr. 14, at St. Margaret Parish Hall. Alex Maureau, the relay’s co-chair, provided information on the American Cancer Society overnight fund-raising event, which is scheduled to take place between June 21-22 at the park’s Brennan Field running track. Maureau (fifth from left) was greeted by MVPORA President Sal Candela (at right) and other civic group members. The next MVPORA meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday night, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Margaret Parish Hall, located on 79th Place south of Juniper Valley Road.
