R’wood Girl Scouts Mark Milestone

Members of Girl Scout Troop 4-95 celebrated the organization’s 80th anniversary on Sunday, Mar. 30, at Covenant Lutheran Church in Ridgewood. The troop was founded at the house of worship in 1934 and generations of its members have met there continuously ever since. It is regarded as one of the oldest Girl Scout troops in the entire city. Troop members are pictured standing before a cake marking the festive occasion.
