Police have identified the woman struck and killed by a Chevrolet Malibu on Queens Boulevard last weekend as Rosa Anidjar, 82, of Forest Hills.
The Police Department said Anidjar was crossing the service road parallel to Queens Boulevard near 71st Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. May 3 when a Chevrolet Malibu hit her.
The NYPD said she was unresponsive at the scene and then pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
Police believe Anidjar was walking inside the crosswalk markings, but may have been crossing against the traffic signal, the NYPD said.
The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu remained at the scene and was not facing charges, according to the NYPD.
