Glendale Remembers Veterans on Memorial Day

Members gathered at the Edward R. Miller Monument at 73rd Place and Central Avenue in Glendale on Memorial Day to honor veterans of past wars and pray for active duty servicemen and women. Present at the service were Post Commander Israel Rivera, Post Adjutant Pete Garon, Women’s Auxillary President Elect Christine Stier, Men’s auxiliary Senior Vice President Kevin McBride, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 118 Commander Elect Danny Wisotsky, Disabled American Veterans State Commander Sammy Mantilla, Disabled Americans Veterans Auxillary State Commander Nancy Rivera and Disabled American Veterans Auxillary State Past Commander Marie Sternecker.
