Marking Milestone at Wdhvn. Church

Three-quarters of a faithful century were celebrated by parishioners at Emanuel United Church of Christ during the Woodhaven house of worship’s 75th anniversary service and barbecue on Sunday, June 8. The congregants marked 75 years since the church at the corner of Woodhaven Boulevard and 91st Avenue opened in 1939. Pastor Toni Walrond is among those pictured at the barbecue.
