Vehicles Collide In Rego Pk.

A driver was injured after a sedan smacked the rear of an SUV in Rego Park last Wednesday afternoon, June 4, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. in front of a location on Woodhaven Boulevard southbound near 62nd Road. Members of Engine Co. 287, Ladder Co. 136, Battalion 46, the 104th Precinct and EMS units rushed to the scene. The injured driver was removed to a local hospital. A firefighter is pictured applying an absorbant powder on oil that spilled from the damaged sedan.
