Body discovered in Beechhurst: NYPD

Police were investigating after the body of an unidentified woman was discovered in Beechhurst Tuesday morning, the NYPD said.

Authorities said the body was discovered by a city Parks Department employee around 10:12 a.m. in a wooded area near 14th Road and Utopia Parkway. The NYPD said the medical examiner was working to determine the cause of death.
