ZINA V. SISTO of Middle Village died on Thursday, July 3, at the age of
78. A native of Brooklyn, her family immigrated from Treviso, Italy. She
was the beloved wife of the late Frank Sisto and Sister of the late Louis
Baldassin. She is survived by sister-in-law Connie Baldassin, nieces,
nephews, and step children/grandchildren.
Zina graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology and served on
the board of directors for theirAlumniAssociation. She was employed as art
director for Dan River Inc. until her retirement in 2001.
Zina served as past president and active member of the Columbiettes
Loyola Knights of Columbus Council 447. She was a member of Queens
Community Board 5, assistant recording secretary of the Middle Village
Property Owners/Residents Association, and active with other local civic
associations.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, July 7, at St.
Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at Long Island
National Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I. under the direction of Michaels
Funeral Home, 79-22 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.

IRENE BLANKE died on Thursday, August 7, at the age of 70. She was
the beloved mother of George Blanke and James Blanke and cherished
grandmother of Nick, Andrew, Ashley, Jackie, Samantha and Justin. She is
also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Divine Liturgy
was offered on Monday, August 11, at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek
Orthodox Church, Jackson Heights, followed by interment at Mount Olivet
Cemetery, Maspeth, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27
Grand Ave., Maspeth.

MILDRED ROSE RIVENBURG died on Wednesday, August 6, at the
age of 89. She was the beloved mother of Randy Rivenburg and Janet Pagan,
mother-in-law of Linda and Arsenio, cherished grandmother of Victoria,
David, Emily, Irene, Edith, Amy and Josh, great-grandmother of Alex,
Giuliana and Charlotte and dear sister of Veronica Holley. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, August 9, at St. Mary’s Church,
Woodside, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

IRENE PETROCHKO died on Tuesday, August 5, at the age of 88. She
was the wife of the late George Petrochko, loving mother of Virginia and
mother-in-law of Steven. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews
and friends. AMass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, August 9,

at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by entombment at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, L.I., under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

SALVATORE S. PETRANO of Ridgewood died on Saturday, August 9, at the age of 86. A native of Brooklyn, he
was the beloved husband of Grace and devoted father of Paul Petrano, Todd Petrano and Lisa Petrano. Services
were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, followed by cremation
at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village.

MARY E. WERNER of Walnut Cove, N.C. died on Sunday, August 3, at the age of 93. A native of New York, she
was the wife of the late Albert and devoted mother of William Werner, Bruce Werner and the late Thomas Werner.
Services were offered at graveside at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

EDWARD CATAPANO died on Saturday, August 2, at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of Rose
Catapano, loving father of Anthony Catapano, Vincent Catapano, Mary Vitale and Roseann Fornito, cherished
grandfather of Daniel, Audrey, Josette, Salina, Michael, Edward and Joseph and dear brother of Nancy Petrozzino,
Helen Caiafa and Frank Catapano. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered on Wednesday, August 6, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by interment
at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

HENRY V. ANDREANA of Ditmas Park died on Tuesday, August 5, at the age of 91. He was the devoted father
of Henry, Angelina, Patricia and Barbera and is survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass
of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, August 8, at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at
Fairview Cemetery, Middletown, N.J., under the direction of Village Chapels Inc., 67-67 Eliot Ave., Middle Village.

LUCY CATAUDELLA of Glendale died on Wednesday, July 30, at the age
of 79. She was the devoted mother of John Cataudella and Mary and Thomas
Haeberle and dear sister of Victor Ferraro. She is also survived by two

Glendale, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under

DENIS J. SULLIVAN of Glendale died on Wednesday, July 30, at the age of
57. He was the beloved son of Josephine and the late Thomas and dear brother
of Maura Kammerer and Terence Sullivan. He is also survived by five

Glendale, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under

STEVEN E. COLBERT of Brick, N.J., formerly of Ridgewood, died on
Wednesday, July 29, at the age of 61. The former owner of Jaco Tool Co. of
Middle Village, he was the beloved husband of Katherine E., devoted father
of Melissa Chiofalo and Steven, loving grandfather of Alexander and Amelia,
dear father-in-law of Benny Chiofalo and dear brother of Dorothy Thomas,
Helen Sala and Danny. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of
the Miraculous Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at
Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I., under the direction of Hess-
Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.
