No one was injured after a blaze broke out inside a Middle Village home on Sunday night, Aug. 24, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the inferno ignited at about 10:40 p.m. on the second-floor of a home at the conrer of Eliot Avenue and 77th Place. Responding to the scene (listed in the order of arrival) were Engine companies 287, 219 and 291; Squad Co. 288; Ladder companies 136, 140, 138 and 124; Rescue 4; and Battalion 46. Officers from the 104th Precinct and EMS units also responded. Reportedly, all of the residents in the home evacuated on their own and were in good condition. Firefighters brought the blaze under control at about 11:10 p.m., it was noted.
