Members of Opera on Tap performed some of the greatest hits to a delighted audience at the 71st Avenue Plaza in Ridgewood on Saturday evening, Aug. 16. The group’s mission is to “promote opera as a viable, living and progressive art form deserving a place on the American cultural landscape.” Saturday’s program offered opera classics in a casual, outdoor setting. The event was sponsored by the Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District and is part of a year-round program of events at Myrtle Avenue’s three pedestrian plazas.
