Suspect Stole from Local Synagogue

The man pictured is wanted for burglarizing the Congregation Adas Yereim Synagogue on Metropolitan Avenue in Kew Gardens on Friday, July 25, law enforcement sources stated. At 12:25 p.m. the suspect entered the synagogue within the 102nd Precinct and allegedly took $75 from the donation box, police said. Sources familiar with the incident describe the suspect as a white male, around 5’10’ tall, 185 lbs. He was reportedly last seen wearing a multi-colored striped short sleeve shirt, beige pants and beige shoes, according to police. Anyone with information that could prove helpful is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All information will be kept confidential.
