Car Flips Out on Blvd. In Woodside

A driver was injured in a one-car accident along Queens Boulevard in Woodside on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 23, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the vehicle overturned at 3:30 p.m. along the westbound lanes of the boulevard near 72nd Street. Members of Engine Co. 287, Ladder Co. 136, Rescue 4, Battalion 46, the 108th Precinct, EMS units and NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10 responded to the scene. Paramedics removed the driver to a local hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
