Lawmakers Help Serve Hot Meals In Rego Park

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito recently visited MASBIA Rego Park, one site in the soup kitchen network that works in the fight against hunger. MASBIA is a kosher certified kitchen, but serves patrons of all faiths and ethnicities. The kitchen has three sites and serves hot, nutritious meals to hungry men, women and children. Pictured, from left to right, are City Council Members Karen Koslowitz, Rory Lancman, Mark Weprin and Mark-Viverito in the MASBIA kitchen.
