No serious injuries were reported after a sinkhole formed in the driveway adjacent to a home last Friday afternoon, Oct. 24, authorities said. Fire Department sources said the collapse occurred at about 2:37 p.m. at a home on 58th Road off 69th Street. Reportedly, the sinkhole also collapsed part of the residence’s foundation. Responding to the incident (listed in the order of arrival) were Engine companies 219 and 319; Squad companies 288, 252 and 270; Ladder companies 140, 136, 117 and 146; Battalion 28 and Division 14, along with the 104th Precinct, EMS Units and NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10.
