Bicyclist killed in Laurelton hit-and-run: Cops

A Laurelton man was killed early Saturday morning after he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle not far from his home, the NYPD said.

Police said Wayne White, 50, was cycling westbound along North Conduit Avenue near 225th Street in Laurelton just before 5 a.m. when he was struck. The vehicle fled the scene, according to the NYPD, and White was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said they were still investigating the fatality.
