Store closing

The CVS Pharmacy located at 22-08 31st Street is closing down at the end of this month and its customers are being referred to the Ditmars Blvd branch half a block away.
The 31st Street pharmacy will be shutting its doors at the end of January and all prescription records will be transferred to the CVS Pharmacy at 31-01 Ditmars Blvd, a store manager said.
The staff at the 31st Street location are unsure what will happen to their jobs.
“It is a play it by ear situation,” the store manager said. “Even I don’t know where I am going to be after this month.”
The manager said that he was unsure what led to the decision to close the store, or what will be coming to the location once CVS closes.
