A woman was found dead in her Rego Park home early Monday morning, Memorial Day, according to the NYPD.
Police said they received a 9-1-1 call of an unconscious woman in a 63rd Drive apartment near Carlton Street, in the area of the 112th Precinct.
The emergency medical responders pronounced the 40-year old Asian woman dead at the scene. Her identity was not released pending notification of her family, police said.
NYPD’s crime scene unit was at the scene investigating the death. The medical examiner had not yet determined the cause of death, and the police are continuing their investigation.
